🗓 Saturday, March 29, 2025
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Eccles Art Center, Ogden
🎟 FREE & open to the public!

Have a shoebox full of old family photos? A dusty album of wedding snapshots, war-time letters, or grandma’s handwritten recipes? Don’t let them fade away — preserve your history and share it with the community at our upcoming Scan Day event!
Hosted by Weber State University and the Weber County Heritage Foundation, this one-day event is your chance to digitize your family’s treasures — for FREE.
How it works:
Bring your historic photos, documents, or memorabilia
Our team will scan them on-site using professional-grade equipment
You’ll walk away with:
Your original items safely returned
A digital copy of each scan to keep or share
No cost. No catch. Just a chance to celebrate the stories that make up Weber County’s rich past.
By scanning your family history, you’re helping build a stronger, more complete picture of our community’s heritage. Whether your great-grandparents helped build the railroad, ran a corner store, or simply raised a family right here in Ogden — your story matters.
The Eccles Art Center is also a beautiful historic building in its own right. While you're there, take time to enjoy the space, meet others passionate about local history, and maybe even discover something new.
Come be part of something lasting. One scan could help future generations understand where they came from.
We’ll see you — and your memories — on March 29.
